| Operating
|
| The surface
supporting the Skate and load, plays a large part in the long life
of your Skates. The following comments will assist you in the safe
and economical use of your equipment. |
| Working Conditions
|
| Excellent |
Flat heavy duty concrete, in good condition, overlaid
with steel the Skates may be used with full rated load, and non
stop, straight moves up to 20 metres may be accomplished. Attention
to lubrication is important.
|
| Good |
Commercial concrete, 75% rated load: Steel tracks
will stop floor damage.
|
| Poor |
Cast concrete panels, dished, dirty, wet, or corrosive,
50% rated load is necessary to avoid tearing up the floor: steel
tracks will improve the situation .
|
| Very Poor |
Sloping floor or yard, with large load. Channels
laid horizontal to build up the slope and double the number of large
footprint skates, is satisfactory.
|
| |
| Skates for
special applications are manufactured to customer requirements. i.e.
Flat top skates for bolting or welding. |
