Drum Transporter

This device is capable of picking up a drum off the corner of a pallet and transporting it at a fast walking pace. This is all done without the operator coming into contact with the drum. To pick up empty drums, a clamp opening handle is provided.
The hydraulic jack, wheels and clamp are provided from Merton's extensive component stock, and are all fully covered by spares.
To use the machine the operator walks the unit up to the drum, lifts the clamp hydraulically to the centre point of the drum and engages the clamp by pushing it into the drum, three pumps of the handle and you are away. The finger lever in the handle controls the lowering of the drum.
The lip gripping drum lifter may be fitted for plastic drum work.
